Russell fabricates a wide variety of compression molded parts. The need for high volume, long run production requirements has prompted Russell to expand it's tooling design capabilities. This, coupled with the working knowledge of most raw materials and large selection of hydraulic presses, allows Russell to meet virtually all customer needs.

  AH-1 Cobra Ballistic Pilot Seat Liner:
Compression molded Kevlar® reinforcement and polyester resin. Ballistic resistant. Cured at 230° F closed cavity aluminum mold.
E-glass / epoxy sheet molding compound (SMC).
Cured at 290° F and 2000 psi in a closed cavity, hard-coated aluminum mold.
Multiple ply, or high-temperature E-glass / epoxy prepreg laminate.
Cured at 350° F and 1000 psi.
  E-glass / polyester (3 ply) prepreg laminate.
Cured at 260° F and 100 psi in a multiple section, hard-coated aluminum mold.
